SPICE RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE – Vibrant Caribbean Flavors & Warm Ambiance in Richmond, VA

Let’s start with the atmosphere first… The lounge is beautiful! It’s nicely decorated with touches of the islands all throughout, and it’s really clean! Upon walking in you know you’re in for a great time/vibe. The customer service was amazing! From the hostess, to the bartenders, and even down to the waitresses everyone was friendly, and attentive. They made sure my party and I were well taken care of. The owners even came around to make sure that everything was to our liking. The food was *chefs kiss* everything was fresh, and full of flavor! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything that you choose to order. All in all we had a great experience and we will definitely be back. 10/10 highly recommended!!

Stopped by with a few friends to catch a Sunday worth of football games. Greeted with great service. Food was very good! Honestly everything we ordered from appetizers to main course was commendable. Also food came Out in a timely manner. Def will return for dinner and a few drinks.

Spice Lounge RVA has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of character. The staff genuinely care about your experience—they’re attentive without being overbearing, and they make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish. The food is truly the star. Every dish is bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re trying their signature dishes or something new, you can literally taste the passion that goes into their cooking. The seasoning is bold in all the right ways, and the balance of spices is unmatched—nothing feels heavy or overwhelming, just perfectly crafted. Drinks were also outstanding, and the menu offers something for every taste. The timing of the courses was perfect, and everything came out fresh and hot. You can tell the kitchen and servers work seamlessly together. Overall, Spice Lounge RVA delivers an exceptional blend of great food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you can visit for a date night, a family dinner, or a fun night out with friends—and walk away impressed every single time.

Snapper was delicious. Beans,rice and cabbage was favorable. Mac and cheese skillet was on point. The ox tails were seasoned well but too fatty. I wont get those again but plan on going back to try other menu items. Oh the sweet tea is also delicious

My VSU friends and I had homecoming dinner at Spice and it was phenomenal . We were a large party and the service was fast, professional and warm. The ambiance was stunning. You feel like you are out of town which is what we all want right?! Best of all was the food, I ordered Shrimp Rasta Pasta and it was the best Rasta Pasta I have ever had. To top off the night, the DJ was dope and the owner stopped by the table and checked in and thanked us! A must see spot in Richmond !!!

I had a great time at Spice Lounge, the hostess, manager and our waitress made sure our needs was met. I had order 8 wings, pasta with curry chicken, drinks. Food was good. The Dj played my kind of music, Karaoke was also that night. I will be back.
